Dunque, la situazione politica americana, secondo Peggy Noonan, si puo’ oggi riassumere cosi’: i Democratici sono “impegnti a nascere”, i Repubblicani stanno imparando come si muore.

Sette anni di Bush, secondo la Noonan, hanno messo KO il movimento conservatore nato all’epoca di Reagan, che non mostra segni di avere nuove idee.
